Criminology is a behavioral science which studies the behavior of crime and criminals. Criminologists are those who investigates the crime. Sometimes it is also known as Criminal Justice. Criminologists in United States works with FBI, Police and other investigative agencies. Another group works as research criminologists.
How to become a criminologist ?
Even though there is an associate degree in criminal justice, it is not preferred. Bachelor degree in Criminology/Criminal Justice is recommended. Most successful criminologists pursue a doctoral degree in this field.
