Solar Flares

solar flare is a sudden brightening observed over the Sun surface or the solar limb, which is interpreted as a large energy release of up to 6 × 1025 joules of energy. They can damage satellites and even ground based technologies. Every 11years the sun reaches its maximum activity. They become bigger and more common. This increases the chance to affect earth. A solar flare is the explosion from the surface of the sun reaching from minutes to hours of light. Large flares can power the entire Asia to power for million years.
